The Thirsty Vine

May 1, 2010

This is my first restaurant review, and let me tell you, it is so important to me that I tell you, the people that I am so very fond of, to check out this place that I haven’t yet made it over to Yelp.

That’s saying something.

I’ve been wanting to make my way over to this place since I first heard about it. Monica brought home some cheese for me to try from her trip there with Cole, and I was immediately impressed by the apparent swank of the place. Their cheese was amazing! So flavorful and plentiful. So that is what Grace and I had last night, when I finally found the time to stop in. YUM. Emily brought it out for us, and my was it a wonderful experience having the chef personally deliver our appetizer, even if it was cheating slightly since we know her.

And the wine, yes sir. The wine was wonderful as well. They have a bountiful selection of wines there and they are all reasonably priced. I insist that you go and try it out if you haven’t already. It seems that it’s become a favorite among a good many of us here at “All Things Foodie”, and that’s saying something.

Check out their menu and you’ll be convinced too. http://www.thethirstyvine.com/food

I need to remember to document such wonderful meals, instead of scarfing them down.

I didn't take this picture, but I wish I had.

I’m so crazy about the place that I’m going to go try to get a job there. If all goes well, I’ll be serving you your awesome cheese plate and wonderful wine in a classy black uniform the next time you stop in. Cross your fingers for me!
